Explore the unique qualities of transparent watercolor and learn various techniques with one on one instruction designed for the individual’s level of expertise. Learn and enjoy the spontaneity, splash and mood of watercolor with still-lifes, landscapes, and figure painting. Discover the visual poetry this medium has to offer. The small class goes step by step through approaches in handling this incredible medium. It will progress from a limited palette to a larger color range and learn wet on wet and wet to dry techniques. Inclass demonstrations are included.

The workshop/class works just like it sounds. For those who can only come when they can or don’t feel they need the structure of a class the workshop is for you. Join us anytime during the 14 week session and receive instruction as you need it or watch the demonstration and ask anything you like.

The class is a 14 week session covering painting skills that greatly increase decision making in regard to value, color and light, edges, composition, drawing, and technique. The session includes still-lifes, landscapes (various locations), and figure painting.
